My fellow classmates and our well respected Lehrer(teachers) of 4/4.
It has been a long way we've come, since the day you took charge of this class.
The excitement and fun from the experience has been no less than the amount of words in our textbooks.But the amount of time left with each other is getting shorter by the day.Before the day of separation arrives, I would like to express immense thanks to you, Meine Lehrer, and to wish you a very happy teacher's day.THANK YOU.

Hey Guys!!Yes its Damien here again posting and keeping you up to date about the latest happenings in school.

In today's discussion, I present to you a video of a not so respectable teacher in one of Singapore's schools.



Now, you see in this video the teacher using a wonderful variety of english just to reprimand the pupil for not doing her work properly.A little too overboard I would say.She even tore up the article that the student wrote.What kind of behavior is this?

The student in the video labeled a ''Sly, crafty old rat'', by the teacher herself.
If this is right of the teacher, then why do we students have our right to criticize taken away from us?The student in the video was not given the chance to explain himself at all.Any attempt at giving an explanation was dismissed by the teacher and that is not the right way of education.
It is also the boy's stupidity not to stand up for himself against all the corrupted accusations being hurled at him.We live to fight against what is wrong.Democracy is freedom of the people to do things that will cause no harm to others around them.It is also the power given to the people to stand up against what is wrong.
The two characters in the video does not show the democracy that we Singaporeans pledge ourselves to every morning.
The teacher abuses her authority over the issue and the student, by not standing up for his right, has encouraged the teacher to continue her abuse.That, mein fellow classmates, is wrong.

Singapore is a democratic society.The people have their rights.(And they also have their rights taken away from them).If we are going to stop having our rights taken away from us.It starts from right now.

Stand up for any wrongs.Lets fight for our rights.

I'm sure you all are waiting excitedly for my next post and now behold.Here I come!

Firstly, we want to wish Kenny and Merlvin a Happy (4)Birthday.Our two birthday babies this week sure deserve their cakes.

School wasn't very happening today...perhaps what got the class's spirits up was the appearance of Guo Cheng's wallet.....along with 2 other surprises.But in the end.He got rid of em.ALL.Anyway, we still wish them all the best. ;)

Finally got my red pen back from our teacher.Its been a week already....

I would like to take this chance to address a very important issue.
As we all know, global warming is having a very dreadful toll on the environment.I'm sure I don't have to go on and on about the horrible effects of G.warming, but I'm sure that every one of us has a part to play in conserving the environment and helping slow down the effects of global warming; for if we don't, perhaps we might just find that our wish of Outram getting flooded come true.
One way that we can reduce the carbon footprint of the world is to switch off all lights and fans in areas that are vacant.I,e, the hall, sports hall and classroom.
Do not use and waste paper.Dispose of all unwanted papers into the recycle bins provided.
Recycle your old worksheets by using the unused side of the paper for rough work.

Don't forget to catch the Derby between Man Utd and Man City this Sunday.
Also the BIG match between Chelsea and Liverpool.

I haven't got much to post actually.Quite busy recently.Working on a photo project for an exhibition.

I would also like to take the chance to apologise to all those whoose uniforms I've dotted during the freak accident yesterday afternoon.Sorry.

Then we come back to class.. and soon it was chemistry period... After 10 mins.. the class touches on the topic on ELECTROLYSIS... immediately the whole lesson came to a halt and random debates about electrolysis were everywhere...

Yesterday... I made a bet that our SS teacher would be wearing green today and guessed what?!?! REALLY WEAR GREEN LEI!!!! notice the red green pattern...

I've been noticing the inactivity. So as a response to the recent national day video time!!!

We want to remember the Governement that served us so well during all this years and brought us through our toughest times. We may complain about our country "GST veri high ah 7 %", "government onli know how to lift upgrade how bout school aircon lei", "MOE no money ah, school computer so lag". Instead lets be grateful that we are living like some 3rd world country. We might not have resources, but we have newater and LRT.

Monday 13th of August, the "O" level chinese results were released, and for some of us, we were overjoyed due to the good results, however the minority like me. FAIL!! and who i want to blame for failing? MADAM TAN KIM CHOO for distributing the pupils into many different classes and sorting them out according to their standards. I shall not go into detail any further now.

Today and yesterday was also a stressful day for 4/4. We were faced 2 STRANGERS that are out to harm you, a passage and a picture..YES!! you know it.. THE ENGLISH ORAL EXAMINATIONS. To severael of us we might have felt at ease due to Damien Chng's inspirational speech to the class before the examinations. To those that taken their examinations yesterday. Some complain of the STRANGERS giving fake smiles and interuppting while u are speaking halfway.

To my fellow friends that have not taken the oral. JIA YOU AH!!

To those that have not watched rush hour 3. I would definitely encourage you to watch.. SUPER DAM FUNNY.. but ah i think if there isn't the nigger.. wun be as nice la..

Welcome to my new column where I will address and highlight issues that comrades of 4/4 have brought up.

First, and I believe this to be a very popular topic amongst us, the issue of seating plans.

As we all know....the big countdown begins whenever our form teacher enters the class.
20,19,18,17......3,2,1!! OK!! Everyone is supposed to be back in their original seating positions as dictated by the teachers.

But here comes the problem; The comrades of 4/4 are not satisfied with the assigned seating positions.
Reasons:
My partner too quiet!!!
My partner got sweet don't want share!!!
My partner has a big mouth!!!
My partner sleeps too much during math lesson!!!
or
I want to sit beside Damien Chng!!!

So, with these problems arising, how can some of us study effectively? The school actively encourages group study, with each of us comrades there to encourage each other as we inch closer to doomsday; O levels.
Yet, we are sometimes put beside people who distract us during lessons, by not giving us sweets, sleeping, etc. How are we to carry on studying like this??!!!

Comrade Roger voiced his opinions out loud during the ''great countdown'' in this afternoon's SS period. Of course, he was on the loosing side, with him going heads on with the authorities; things will never work out. Roger, calm down.
My fellow 4/4 comrades, I propose a peaceful solution to this problem; negotiations.
We must go and show the teachers that we can be quiet and not disrupt lessons while seating with our closest comrades. I know that there is the immense temptation of talking to your neighbours, I have that problem too(no!don't control it by sleeping), but if we really want to be comfortable in where we are seating, the teachers must be comfortable to teach with us seated there. Imagine yourself as teacher, mumbling jumbling all those boring physics theories(for example) that you already know the class will be bored of.And yet you allow the students to go find their more interesting comrades to distract them so that you can't teach. Stupid right?
So its either you prevent them from doing it, or....you stop them from doing it.
And our immensely intelligent teachers found a way to prevent us from doing it; The Seating Plan.
But think, if we had just keep quiet and concentrate; like what Kay Yong & Jonathan does, then the teachers will have no worries putting us together already right?
Farris is an exemption.He talks to anyone.

Just see, me and Roger.Can't shut up too.But we still get put together,because the form teacher knows that we always keep quiet by going into hibernation.hehe (Don't Try This in Class)

But seriously, some teachers are really influential.Their lessons are so influencing that we have
to find something to keep us from being influenced into a deep sleep. And they complain about us going to find entertainment and then complain about us dozing off.

Oh, but all 4/4 comrades know who is the Ultimate Sleeping Pill right?
The one who is always late for class. Well, he isn't too bad.He/she gives us sleeping time before he/she drops the ultimate sleeping bomb on us that drives us into drowsiness.
Once, he/she even gave the class ME to keep you all awake.Best entertainment ever!
